The point you become gluttonous, and pray to get "lucky", is the point you lose all of your money. Seems a bit strange, but it seems to be true. The only time I ever come away with money is when I don’t worry about losing it. I went to the the casino the other night with twenty dollars. I couldn’t care any less about losing it, I mean, what is twenty dollars? So guess what happened? I ended up leaving with one hundred and twenty dollars in profit in 1 hour!
A different occassion I was at the casino with my buddy Mike. I went in with one hundred dollars that I couldn’t afford to lose. I got hoggish, I got worried, and I ended up wagering too much and losing it in thirty mins! The lesson is never ever bet more than you are able to squander. If you do not panic about squandering, you have a greater opportunity of profiting big!
What other ways can you improve your chances of succeeding at Roulette besides setting a budget? Never wager on individual numbers! Yes, they hit occasionally, but they don’t hit enough to guarantee a steady profit. Only bet on 1:1 wagers e.g. black, red, even, odd, 1-18, and 19-36, and 2:1 bets like first 12, 2nd dozen, 3rd 12, etc Bet on odds that pay out pretty big.
With the basic rules covered, how else can we further elevate our chances of winning at Roulette? By turning probability into our ally, instead of our enemy. "You cannot succeed at Roulette", my buddy Bob would say to me. "It is completely arbitrary because any number can come up". Absolutely, my buddy Ben certainly has a point, but at the same instance, he is overlooking a critical part of the picture. I absolutely agree, black or red possibly could be landed on thirty times in a row, but how frequently does that happen?
